| How soon will my background check be completed? Your basic background check including criminal, civil, and address history is completed instantly unless there is an issue with the initial information you provided. Employment and education verification generally takes 1 to 3 business days. Can anyone see the information found in my report? No.... When you become a SureCheck member your Careerbuilder Resume is instantly updated to reflect your verified status. Any employer who attempts to view your report will see your "Basic Report" which simply confirms that your records have been checked. How can my potential employer view the actual results? When an employer views your Basic Report, they'll be offered the opportunity to send you an automated request for access to your Detailed Report. It is up to grant access or decline their request.
