The following email message has been reported to the Trust and Site Security Team.

This is a Money Laundring Scam and is attempting to gather Job Seekers to perpetuate the traffic of stolen or non-existent money. This message should be disregarded and deleted at this time.

The known company names used in this scam are: CONSULT DIRECT LTD, Norton Recruitment, BaileyRecruitUK, and Thomas Recruitment. There may be other names used as well, so please do not rely solely on the company name.  

This Scam targets CareerBuilder’s job seekers by claiming to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and using CareerBuilder logos. However, please read the examples below carefully, as any links within the email could possibly infect your computer with viruses.

Please be sure you have all anti-virus definitions up to date. It is also recommended that you have the latest security patches for your computer's operating system. If you have clicked on the link, please run a malware scan for your entire computer system as a precautionary measure. If you have  have received further correspondance from the "company", please cease any further contact.
